Madden 10 reviewed; strangest Wii accessory yet?

A while ago, Jeff and Scott chimed in about their hands-on of Madden 10 during an NYC EA event. That play session gave some sense of what the final experience would be like when Madden 10 hits store on Friday for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (and Wii, PS2, and PSP, in different forms). In the meantime, however, EA sent a special treat: advance copies of the final Madden 10 boxed version for the Xbox 360.

Are they just messing with us now? The strangest Wii accessory yet
Just when you thought Nintendo Wii accessories couldn't get any more bizarre, along comes a patent filing that has left us speechless. Xbox 360 Elite dropping to $299 (finally)?
Treat this right now as very likely, but still a rumor--a photo of a catalog page posted to Kotaku shows the 120GB hard drive-and-HDMI Xbox 360 Elite going for $299. The Meijer catalog (a Midwest store chain) in question is slated for August 30, which would mean a nice holiday surprise for future Xbox 360 buyers. Read more

Wii vs. Xbox 360
Posted by matrixpro5959
So I found threads similar to this, but they were all before the systems came out. I have about $300 saved for a new system, so I am definitely getting a new system. PS3 is out of my range and I can't justify it, but I'm trying to decide between the Wii and the 360. I would say that I'm a little more than a casual gamer, but not too amazingly hardcore. I really get into games (like the Kingdom Hearts series on PlayStation) and try to play whenever I have the time. I like the Wii gameplay, but can't help to wonder if this will be outdated soon (especially with Project Natal). I mostly like FPS, though, so I don't know if that means I should get a 360 or what. I do like online play, but is one better than the other?  Read more
